This is where the journey begins, or where the seasoned Pilates practitioner can find a calming focused class. This class will help you master the Pilates fundamentals, focus on proper form, tap into muscles you didn't know you had, breathe properly to enhance your workout, and connect the mind and body to feel confident progressing your Pilates practice.
This class is for all levels. Classic AF1 has slower flows, shorter holds, less variations, and lots of active stretching, This is a full body workout that will challenge every client in the room, leaving everyone feeling longer and stronger.
Once you've mastered the basics, this is the next step, where you are ready to expand your practice, and challenge your mind and body further. The addition of a variety of apparatus and advancing the movements to expand your mind and body connection.
This level has faster flows, longer holds and less stretching, This is a full body workout that will challenge you while still leaving you feeling longer and stronger.
This is our most challenging level and intended only for those that have been approved by the instructors. We will work your body and mind in ways you haven't imagined. Taking you out of your comfort zone but guiding you safely in your Pilates practice.
This level is not for beginners. This level has little rests between exercises, many holds and pulses, and little stretching. This is a full body workout that will leave you shaking and sweating but feeling energized and ready to conquer your day!
Need a little cardio in your life? Come to this fast paced class. There will be a variety of techniques used to pump up your heart rate...tabata, circuits, and jumping. We will add jumpboards, weights, Bosu balls, mini bands, circles and balls to find unique ways to bring on the cardio!
This class is for all levels but does require that you attend at least 3 Classic AF1 or above classes to understand the equipment and terminology.
This class is focused on core strengthening and body lengthening. First, give your abs a full workout. Second, focus on stretching and lengthening the body with active stretches on the reformer using spring tension, adding balls, circles. bands, and other apparatus to stretch in different ways. You should feel stronger and longer when you leave
.
This class is for all levels.
This class is for Parents and their tween/teen (12-18 years). The class is every Sunday at noon. It's a great way to share time with your young one and to start them on their path to improving their health and strength, and building their confidence. Plus ...it's fun!
This class is for all levels. Be sure to create accounts for both the Parent and teen, so you can save your spots in class.
This class is still Pilates focused but we incorporate the TRX suspension trainer into the mix. Great for arms and abs, but your entire body will get a great workout. A fun new way to mix up your Pilates practice.
This class is for intermediate or higher levels and does require that you attend at least 3 Contemporary AF2 classes to not only understand the equipment and terminology but to also have the control needed for suspension training.
This class incorporates Pilates with yoga! Practice physical postures, controlled breathing and meditation to bring harmony to your mind and body while improving flexibility, strength, balance, posture, and body awareness.
This class is for all levels!
